The End Of 2016 Begins with realization
Im so ready for the end of 2016. I think I have been ready for a while now. This has been one the first year of drama free people living in my and the opening of my new company and beginning my life as an entrepreneur. The idea I do credit to being a mother and a massive amount of weed in which I openly admit that my inspiration comes from weed. I also have hemoglobin SC (Sickle Cell) and I preferred not be judged because I was born with pain and I want to live longer so I use herbal preferences. I was born and raise in the Bronx and even though Im not gonna bore your with my sad stories that would make me seem like a victim when Im not I have come to the realization that things happen some good and bad but I learn and grown from them. At 32 years old I always wonder what should I use my sarcastic voice and opinions for and that is where social impact came bout. I came to the realization that all these years I worked for companies and I was never happy with what I did and I was always getting in trouble for what what i said.
The first amendment obviously wasn't as free as I thought it was. Speaking my mind always had a tendency to get me in a heap of trouble with my bosses. My last job was working with Sesame Flyers a non profit that had a ACS Division, there I learned so much about youth development only problem with my job was this non profit wasn't afraid to make you expendable even if you had medical conditions, anyway moving forward I decided to try and start my own company. Now I will admit the first 6 months there were loads of mistakes and some people didnt make it all the way on the journey and there are now a new group which I think will work better. I also became big with events and soon started doing paid event opportunities for extra money all due to the community co-working and event sharing space I found called the Impact Hub. I joined a work trade program which we are now Community Residents. I volunteer my hours and I get free membership and office space which has become so beneficial to me . There I got to meet companies like Nation Swell and GIv.NY and did paid opportunities for them in the events department.
Working such Events has allowed me to connect with so many people such as Giv.NYC . It also allow me to build myself as what I call a socialist in my community. Moving forward I am trying to get The Zen Gen Foundation going in January and create innovative and constructive workshops for families and corporations in the areas of health, wellness, fitness, life coaching, event planning, innovation and more. I do know that its all about the visual and that is why I
decide to bring a virtual news letter and blog to the Zen Gen Foundation but not only promote my company but others as well. I hoping to get people to collaborate and write new innovative stories and articles to feature in the website. Im also trying to promote new music artist, poets, book artist and those with talents and stories to change and innovate people. The End of 2106 will begin with 2017 and Zen-FIt Rehab Studio Re-branding ourselves and making change and giving hope in our community.
